Life is too short to live with the regret of “What if I had…,” says Julie Paddison. She and Lew Hendricks are energetic, positive and driven—attributes that have enabled their business at Old East Tavern (formerly Bottle Rev Chapel Hill) to find success, and led them to open RTP Uncorked.
“I’m excited to be part of such a strong group of retailers,” Julie says. She envisions lots of community events, including wine dinners, run clubs and trivia nights held in partnership with other Boxyard RTP businesses.
“Acts of generosity, people coming together to help each other and create joy, all make me happy” she says. RTP Uncorked will feature an excellent selection of wines to enjoy on site or to take home, with a focus on family estate wines. “All will feel welcome each time they visit, and will love calling it ‘my wine shop.’”
