PopBox is a 320-square-foot space within the Boxyard RTP development that hosts pop-up style shops on a rotating basis. Coupled with a $6,750 micro-grant from NC IDEA and the Research Triangle Foundation and professional services and counseling from Durham Technical Community College, PopBox is designed to give small businesses exposure to the brick and mortar environment with the tools they need to be successful.
This program began in 2021 with the mission to propel small businesses back into the market amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Since inception, we have seen 7 small businesses come through our program. We are looking forward to working with cohort #3!
