Disco Differences is a vintage and secondhand shop established in 2022 by two passionate women. Megan Snow, a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist in North Carolina, and Emily Wall, a licensed K-12 Special Educator and Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Special Education at UNC Charlotte, have combined their expertise and vision to create an inclusive business.
With extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities, Megan and Emily are committed to fostering education, advocacy, and community integration opportunities. Disco Differences welcomes everyone and strives to promote a sense of belonging for individuals regardless of diagnoses.
Disco Differences operated as an online shop with pop-ups in the Asheville, Raleigh, Durham, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg areas, where anybody, regardless of diagnosis, will have the opportunity to engage in self-advocacy and work-based learning opportunities.
As Disco Differences grows, so will the ability to educate the community, empower all individuals, and encourage not only awareness but radical acceptance and inclusion.
