For cupcake master Carrie, baking is an exciting adventure — one that she’s been on since she was six years old. “It brings me a lot of joy,” she says. Carrie also has a special place in her heart for shipping containers. “It is a running joke in my family, as I have always said I wanted to buy land and live in a shipping container home,” Carrie says. And while she used to operate in a repurposed vintage camper, she now has a “sweet” permanent space at Boxyard RTP, where she can experiment with new flavors and create beautiful experiences for visitors. “When a customer gives me a compliment, it always makes me smile.” Look for Carrie’s smiling face (and of course, her delicious cupcakes, pastries, and locally churned ice cream!) in her warm and welcoming new venue at Boxyard RTP.
