Wind down, grab some food and drinks from our vendors, and enjoy SUNDAZE, a mix of electronic beats and funky vibes to help you (almost) forget that Monday is a thing.
Our musical performances happen rain or shine under our covered Pavilion on the BeatBox stage. In the event of extreme weather, such as flooding, ice or lightning, performances will be canceled. Follow us on Instagram for updates on time changes or cancelations.
This Week’s DJ: Gemynii
Gemynii is sound curator, event producer, and visual artist based in Durham, NC and spins a wide range of music selections with the intent of raising and celebrating the divine feminine energy. Since the summer of 2016 she has diligently rose through the ranks of the NC party scene at a time when female DJs and promoters were few. In just a few years, her skills and growing reputation had already landed her numerous booking in the Raleigh/Durham area well as a steady flow of gigs in cites like Atlanta, LA, New York, & Baltimore. In addition to making folks move and shake at dance parties, corporate events, and weddings, Gemynii has also featured in music festivals such as Moogfest, The Art of Cool Festival, Hopscotch, A3C, and Afropunk After Dark as well as NC Pride.
Covid Precautions
– Boxyard RTP is an open-air facility that will be following all Covid-19 regulations put in place by Durham County.
– In addition to regular cleanings, complimentary hand sanitizer and wipe stations are provided throughout our facility.
– The performers will be positioned at a safe distance away from the general public on the BeatBox stage.
– If you are feeling the beats and have the urge to dance, please do so at your table with the group you came with.
