This month’s lineup:
Emily Musolino

Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, Emily Musolino has been crafting a unique combination of soul inspired, powerhouse vocals for nearly two decades. Influenced as a child by iconic female vocalists Etta James and Janis Joplin, Musolino’s music emits a dynamic combination of blues and shredding rock guitar with hints of jazz and classic outlaw country that only those with a mastery in music composition can create. Traversing addiction, discrimination, and growing up LGBT in the southeast, Musolino finds strength for her recovery in songwriting that culminates in authentic, pure music infused with strong feminist and queer positive messaging.
Studio owner, producer, singer-songwriter, Berklee graduate – Emily Musolino is a unique musical talent that fits in no bounded box and brings an energetic excitement to every crowd, stage, and venue that experiences her performances.

AZUL

AZUL’s sound is as multicultural as her background. Her music is enriched by her Argentinian roots, travel, and global studies degree, while influenced by jazz, broadway, soul, gospel, blues, disco, Latin folk and Latin rock. She is emotional, empathetic, and empowered. She is driven to amplify opportunities for femme/queer/poc individuals in her band and on stage. AZUL sings (in Spanish, English, and French), dances, and plays trumpet. She’s as serious as she is silly, and she wants *you* to connect with that energy while she’s on stage.
AZUL has opened for nationally touring groups like Delta Rae, Esme Patterson, and Madison Mcferrin and has played at venues like the Ritz, Fillmore, and Cats Cradle. Her most recent release, “Death, Love & Disco,” is an homage to her love of disco, community and feeling every drop of emotion that life has to offer.
