Our musical performances happen rain or shine under our covered Pavilion on the BeatBox stage. In the event of extreme weather, such as flooding, ice or lightning, performances will be canceled. Follow us on Instagram for updates on time changes or cancelations.
This Week’s DJ: DJ Damu
Back by popular demand, “spiritual drummer” and positive vibe curator DJ Damu. DJ Damu lets the music lead him and through that, takes you on a journey of vibe curation known as music. He is a major contributor to the NC Hip Hop culture with a group called 7th Tribe in the 90s, along the sides of groups such as Blacksheep, Yaggfu Front, Lords of the Underground & rock talent the Veldt, is when the career of Orlando Green (DJ Damu) began. DJ Damu had a great run in the music industry for about 6 years and then became deeply involved in the DJ side of things by working with the “Kid Capri ” of NC, New Jersey’s own DJ Kool Sheed. DJ Damu has also done work with the likes of Tony Terry, Troublefunk, Gerald Hinton Kindred & The Family Soul, Rissi Palmer & comedian Michael Calyer to name a few. Today he is the DJ for Creedmoor, NC’s own Nacynze.
Covid Precautions:
– Boxyard RTP is an open-air facility that will continue to follow in accordance with all Covid-19 regulations put in place by Durham County. Masks are optional at Boxyard, but individual vendor policies may vary. We recommend bringing a mask with you. Stay kind to those who choose to still wear one.
– In addition to regular cleanings, hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout our facility.
– Our tables are spaced out, so you do not feel right on top of your neighbor.
