Today’s Musicians: The Graes

Pop/Folk duo, The Graes, are CJ and Cassie Grae. Based out of Wilmington, NC, the married duo crafts melodic stories that bring to life and articulate the human condition in a way that says celebration and grief, and dreams and daunting realities, can in fact beautifully co-exist. Quickly building their social presence and fanbase, The Graes are commonly noted for their complimenting voices, euphonious harmonies, and effortless ability to engage a crowd, making each performance unforgettable.

Having experienced the true authenticity and vulnerability found simply in a song, The Graes aim to create music that connects with their listeners in ways that conversation can’t. “We write about life – the good, the bad, the ugly – it’s how we process, heal, and reset.”

Pulling inspiration from artists like The Civil Wars, Johnnyswim, Jon Bellion, and Ed Sheeran, the duo has set their sights high. Collaborating with well-known producers and songwriters like Forever the Sickest Kid’s Austin Bello and LA producer Ron Geffen, The Graes are continually releasing new music and are eager to perform in a city near you!
