Today’s Performers: The Spectacles
Ska supergroup The Spectacles are ready to reign supreme over the Triangle and all of North Carolina and beyond in 2024. The Spectacles is the culmination of 25 years of the partnership of Jeremy Boomhower and Brannon Bollinger. This composing/arranging team has created hits for The Quicksteps, 40 Oz., T. Rox & the Skankosaurs, and Archbishops of Blount Street. They’re joined by fellow veteran players Pete Pawsey, Ben Palmer, Will Kitchin, Charles Cleaver, Jen Strassberg, Silas Burns, and Erik Riggs. The whole of The Spectacles is much greater than the sum of its parts. This is, without a doubt, a Big Sound, Big Show, Big Spectacle!
Our musical performances happen rain or shine under our covered Pavilion on the BeatBox stage. In the event of extreme weather, such as flooding, ice or lightning, performances will be canceled. Follow us on Instagram for updates on time changes or cancelations.
