Live from Research Triangle Park, it’s Friday Night Live!
Good vibes. Good people. Good food. Good drinks. The cherry on top? Good music. In Boxyard-fashion, we aren’t boxing ourselves in with one genre. Every Friday, our container stage opens to showcase collective sounds from musicians across our region, in whatever form or fashion.
Looking for LOJO? Don’t worry! You can still jam out with us every first and third Friday of the month.
Today’s Performers: Emily Musolino
Durham’s Emily Musolino has been crafting a unique combination of soul inspired, powerhouse vocals for nearly two decades. Influenced as a child by iconic female vocalists Etta James and Janis Joplin, Musolino’s music emits a dynamic combination of blues and shredding rock guitar with hints of jazz and classic outlaw country that only those with a mastery in music composition can create. Traversing addiction, discrimination, and growing up LGBT in the southeast, Musolino finds strength for her recovery in songwriting that culminates in authentic, pure music infused with strong feminist and queer positive messaging.
Our musical performances happen rain or shine under our covered Pavilion on the BeatBox stage. In the event of extreme weather, such as flooding, ice or lightning, performances will be canceled. Follow us on Instagram for updates on time changes or cancelations.
