AKT Brier Creek X Boxyard RTP
What is AKT? AKT is a unique combination of toning, interval, circuit, and dance-based workouts, with new original programming, created every 3 weeks. At AKT we train, we sweat, we get results, and we have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.
This class alternates between choreographed dance sections and short strength intervals, putting your muscle and cardio endurance to the test! We methodically break down each step to make sure you learn the entire dance by the end of the class. Burn out every muscle and leave feeling elated after this high-energy interval workout.
About the instructor: Amanda was born and raised in the Raleigh area! After dancing and training competitively for 13 years, she received her BFA in Dance from Oklahoma City University. Upon graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in dance. Her most memorable moments in NYC were spent as the Principal of the Young Dancer Division at Ballet Academy East. Dance education and fitness have always been her passions. Getting to combine those passions at AKT is an absolute dream! Amanda loves how at AKT, fitness feels like a celebration of our bodies and what they can do! She is also a Certified Personal Trainer.
This class will take place from 9:30 – 10:30 am and is $12/person. It is recommended to bring a sweat towel & water bottle.
