Join us for a *free* fitness class and channel your inner ROCKSTAR. Class will get started at 9:45am; all you need is a mat & water bottle. Ripstix© will be provided for each participant. After you finish your workout, enjoy a complimentary iced coffee from Beyu Caffe to fuel the rest of your day and the weekend ahead!

About Today’s Class
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to rockstars of all ages and abilities.
About the InstructorÂ
Katrina Dooda is a nationally certified group fitness instructor, teaching POUND since 2016 and has proudly served as an official Pound Tour Crew member since 2019. In addition to teaching fitness classes, Katrina is also a certified personal trainer and the Group Exercise Lead at Jewish for Good (at the Levin JCC) in Durham, NC. Katrina truly enjoys helping people find joy in fitness – encouraging them take time for themselves, laugh and have fun, while reaching their individual fitness goals.
Covid Precautions:
– Boxyard RTP is an open-air facility that will continue to follow in accordance with all Covid-19 regulations put in place by Durham County. Masks are optional at Boxyard, but individual vendor policies may vary. We recommend bringing a mask with you. Stay kind to those who choose to still wear one.
– In addition to regular cleanings, hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout our facility.
– Our tables are spaced out, so you do not feel right on top of your neighbor.
