Join Together We Stand NC for Maud 2.23: Stand Up to Racism and Hate. This run/walk will be held to honor the memory of Ahmaud Arbery and encourage our participants and the greater community to speak about the senseless violence because of racism and hate.
Together We Stand began in June 2020 as an antidote to the increasing and divisive acts of racism, fear, and ignorance. What was originally designed as a memorial run has evolved into multiple opportunities for unity and courageous conversations. Through these conversations, we are shining a spotlight on how racism and hate erode all our lives while working to change our hearts and actions.
