Megan Shawkey is the potter behind The Tatted Potter. She has been making ceramics for over 7 years. She works mainly in porcelain clay that comes from Asheville, NC.
Megan’s work is handmade on a pottery wheel and then hand-paints one of a kind patterns on her pieces! Her work focuses around geometric surface design and rounded soft forms.
Some of her favorite things to make are platters and big serving bowls! Fueled by her passion of the craft and the inspiration from the pieces she makes for others to enjoy are what keep Megan energized and fulfilled.
